CHEF & OWNER
MICAELA ERICKSON
Micaela has always felt a strong connection and curiosity with food. On any day, you can find her in a kitchen whipping up a seasonally inspired dish, paying homage to produce at its peak.
Becoming a chef wasn’t her original plan. While finishing her business degree, she began working at a local farm-to-table restaurant, La Merenda, where her food career unexpectedly ignited. The idea of creating a menu based solely on what could be sourced locally was a concept new to Milwaukee and one that left her buzzing with inspiration. Her constant appetite for growth has led her to many influential surroundings, including Bavette La Boucherie, Slow Food-Wisconsin and Anderson Valley’s Bewildered Pig.
After having a hand in the opening of Ca’Lucchenzo, a much-anticipated restaurant of good friends and mentors, Sarah & Zak Baker, Erickson decided to create something special of her own - A culinary experience that enriched people’s relationship with food via in-home chef services. She named it “Radish”, a childhood nickname for her sister Ashley, who has been a persistent force to bring this dream to the table.
